Melanie Burridge

Melanie Burridge served 18 years as a Supply Technician in the Canadian Forces and finished her military career at the rank of Sgt, going on to work an additional 14 years as a Procurement Officer in the Federal Public Service. Upon retirement, she chose to focus on creative pursuits and discovered a passion for painting. Inspired by Canada’s east coast where she grew up, much of her art reflects that connection. Painting is her way to recall and preserve the feeling of wonder when witnessing nature’s beauty, and she is honoured to share it with others.
