Kristian Wolowidnyk

Kristian Wolowidnyk, MCpl (Ret’d), CD. Kristian served in the Canadian Armed Forces for twelve years. Three of those were spent with the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and nine were spent with 1 Combat Engineer Regiment in Edmonton, Alberta. Kristian deployed to Afghanistan on Operation Athena in 2009, where he sustained an operational stress injury (PTSD). As part of his post service mental health journey, he first picked up a camera in 2022. Since then, he has devoted himself to developing his craft as a visual storyteller but enjoys a wide range of genres, including wildlife photography.
