Stephanie Robicheau

Robicheau's art is rooted in her upbringing in the Maritimes, where she created at an early age. She has
studied at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design as well as NSCAD University. Now Vancouver, British Columbia inspires and nurtures her work. Using vibrant colors as an abstract layer, Robicheau adds contrasting dark hues to draw out the portrait. Her subject matter is decidedly pointed to exploring the history and personality of her subjects. She uses Acrylic paint, soft pastels, fabric paint, and spray paint. Robicheau has had numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Canada and internationally, including the Columbia Valley Pynelogs Gallery, The Long Gallery, and Gallery Merrick.
