I am curious about the dichotomy between movement and calm. The works in this show express that dichotomy. From the Geode paintings where there is an inner world of movement contained under the openings in the contained outer painting, to the other paintings which draw the eye between movement and calm, I aspire to evoke curiosity and reflection. I am inspired by colour and shape and emotional expression.
