Renee Pupetz

Renee grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Vancouver, BC in 1996. She gravitated
toward art and artists most of her life. She started painting with acrylic before she had children.
She was really attached to the process and once she started a piece she couldn’t put it
down..She stopped painting to raise her two children and resumed painting last year after
developing an intractable vestibular migraine and painting has been healing in many ways.She
paints daily, mainly with watercolor, acrylic fluids and inks. She lives in Coquitlam BC with her
two teen children, who are also artists and inspire her everyday.
