In most western art colour is a dominant  feature, from impressionists to expressionists these artists understood the effects colour had on their paintings and the atmosphere they created. My paintings have a Japanese influenced design with a Western use of colour. This fusion of styles I call " When Cultures Collide".

I've tried to create with these paintings an atmosphere of motion with flowing shades of colour which projects a sense of wellness and energy.
