Rolf Erni

Rolf, born in Switzerland, has lived in Canada for the past five decades, first in Toronto and now in Vancouver. Fascinated by photography since his teenage years, he sees each picture as a moment of chance and unpredictability. He has come to appreciate the process of creating images as much as the result. His main influences are Ernst Haas and Alex Webb, and his work has been exhibited in group exhibitions in North America and Europe.
