Carol How

Carol is passionate about photography as a statement about life and our environment. Based in South Surrey, BC, she focuses her lens on fine art, abstract, and all aspects of street and urban photography. She often employs contrast, geometry, symbolism, and camera movement in her images. Carol strives to connect with the viewer, evoking curiosity about her intent, while providing an introspective look into her vision of humanity in the current environment. Carol has worked as a freelance photographer for weddings, Obeo Real Estate, and the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce. The City of Surrey purchased a body of eight environmental images for a permanent traveling exhibit. Recently, Telus Corporation purchased two of her environmental images for display on the exterior of their new Telus Park building in Surrey, BC. Her work has been exhibited in group shows in Alberta and British Columbia and published in PhotoEd Magazine.
