Formerly a singer/songwriter in Vancouver’s music scene, Trasa8 turned to visual art after a series of experiences left her literally speechless, valuing a wordless form of expression that leans more toward interpretation and ambiguity than meaning.

With an unwavering, if not obsessive, need to create and experiment, her work, which incorporates acrylics, transfers and other mixed media, continually evolves. Raw and expressive. A song on canvas. Her work is now in the collections of buyers across BC and abroad and has been exhibited in the Eastside Culture Crawl (two years running) and Beaumont Studios Art Incognito Art Show and Gala.
