CAROL HOW

Based in South Surrey British Columbia, Carol How is a fine art photographer. She thrives on the challenge of constantly learning and evolving with her photographic skills and creative vision, to communicate more effectively as an artist. Her recent work explores the many different aspects of using abstraction, which even includes her street photography and collage work.

She employs her camera as a paint brush to transform her subject into shape, light, line, colour and movement, by using in camera techniques of multiple exposure, slow shutter and varied camera movements. She studied photography at Langara College and Vancouver Photo Workshops and worked as a real estate, event and wedding photographer.

She gained confidence in her work and artistic vision through many photographic opportunities with the cities of Surrey and White Rock, and with the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce. Her work has been exhibited at galleries in Alberta and British Columbia. Her images have been purchased by both corporate and private art collectors.
