Scott Waters

Scott Waters, a British-born artist, holds a BFA from The University of Victoria and an MFA from York University. He continues to serve as an Infantry soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces. Waters has exhibited his work in various solo exhibition venues and has written a military memoir and anthology. As a two-time participant in the Canadian Forces Artist Program, he deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. Waters has received grants from several arts councils and has collaborated with organizations like The Royal Canadian Mint and The National Film Board of Canada. Currently, he divides his time between his art practice and serving as a reservist, residing in Stirling, ON with his wife.
