Dana Batho

Dana Batho is an artist, designer, and veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. She was permanently injured in her military service as a RCAF Intelligence Officer (2Lt), and has rediscovered her love of oil painting. Dana is also well-known for her wallpaper and fabric designs as Peacock & Fig. She is inspired by vintage-era art such as William Morris and the Dutch masters, and uses her art to create a world of beauty out of the pain she lives with daily. She has exhibited her art in Japan, New Zealand, and Canada, and now lives in beautiful Victoria, BC
