Zahara Mansouri

Zahra "shabnam" mansouri was born in Shiraz, one of the most historical and important cities in Iran. From a young age, her strong interest in all forms of art, especially painting, was evident. She graduated in Graphic Design in 2012 and quickly realized her passion for illustration and painting.

After spending several years working in graphics and advertising, she decided to focus more on her true interest in painting and illustration. Since 2017, she has participated in seven solo and group exhibitions and five art fairs in Turkey, Dubai, and Germany. She loves blending fictional, fantasy, and surreal elements with detailed and precise designs. While she enjoys capturing the real world with great detail, she also likes to incorporate vibrant colors and imaginative scenes into her work. This combination allows her to create a familiar yet fantastical world. But the most important source of inspiration for the artist is the city where she was born: Shiraz.

Known as the birthplace of the greatest Iranian poets, Shiraz is celebrated for its stunning and prolific architectural works featuring intricate mirror work and colored glass. One of the city's most notable buildings is the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, which uses stained glass windows to transform sunlight into thousands of mesmerizing fragments of color, creating an eternal and spiritual atmosphere. Drawing from this rich cultural heritage, the artist has sought to combine her imaginary world with animals, the greatest symbols throughout human history.

This fusion results in unique works that are deeply rooted in her cultural heritage, reflecting both the beauty of Shiraz's architectural masterpieces and the timeless significance of these majestic creatures.
