Jeeva Thomas

I am a Canadian abstract painter based out of Vancouver, BC. I am self-taught, and initially learned to paint as an escape from illness; in the process, I discovered an overwhelming passion and appreciation for artistic expression. I am a native of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, and a long-time resident of Paris, France, my paintings reflect my life journey from island to urban city, to mountainous terrain. Through vivid colors and knife strokes, I hope to celebrate the world and my experiences that both shape and inspire me as an artist.
