Vancouver, BC – The Professional Photographers of Canada – BC Region (PPOC-BC) proudly celebrates the 80th anniversary of its prestigious juried exhibition, the Image Salon—a legacy that spans eight decades of creativity, technical mastery, and photographic excellence.

To mark this milestone, the 2025 Best of BC will be showcased at The Gallery George (140 West Hastings Street, Vancouver), with an opening reception on Wednesday October 15th from 6-9pm.

In addition, the PPOC-BC are hosting a special Alumni Reception on Friday, October 24, from 6-9pm open to all photographers and supporters who ever were at one time a member of PPABC or PPOC-BC. The biggest reunion in their association’s history!

The exhibit will feature this year’s standout images selected by Certified Judges, alongside selections from every decade, offering a visual journey through the rich history of BC photography.

This commemorative exhibition is part of PHOTOGraphie Festival 2025, a vibrant three-day celebration of photography, education, and community. Designed for photographers, art lovers, and visual storytellers of all levels, the festival promises an inspiring and immersive experience.
