Grace Luzande

Growing up in the Philippines, I had limited resources to create Art, but that didn't stop me from finding a way to carve my own path. Instead, it taught me to appreciate and work with what I have. Over the years, I have practiced various mediums - from building twig sculptures using dirt and trash I found on the streets, to watercolour, acrylic, oil, mixed media, print media, digital art, ceramics, and video filming/editing. I've been on a mission to find my own Art "Style," only to discover that "style" is not a thing to achieve, but rather a continuous self-evolution. Creating art is something I do solely for myself—a space where I feel as I create and create as I feel. It’s my personal way of expressing and leaving an impression on both the world and myself.
