Olena Krevenets

My name is Olena Krevenets. I’m an artist born in 1989 in Ukraine. Throughout my childhood, I showed a passion for the arts, particularly drawing, theatre, and fashion design. In 2011, I earned my Master's Degree in Applied Arts from the pedagogical university named by G.S. Skovoroda in Kharkiv, Ukraine, which further fueled my passion for art and design.

After marrying my husband, we moved to Montenegro, where I lived for nearly a decade, raising our son and showcasing my artwork through solo exhibitions of textile art, such as 'Serenity' in 2017. One of my textile sculptures even earned a place in the Ukrainian embassy in Montenegro “...and then they came…”. In 2020, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband, son and I relocated to Vancouver, BC. During my time in Canada, I continued to create a portfolio of photo artworks, participate in exhibitions, and hosted my own solo exhibition.
