As a Ukrainian Canadian artist, one way that I show my solidarity for Ukrainian culture is through art. This is a time to show Ukrainian culture and celebrate it My fashion illustration and geometric art embodies a rhythmic quality and energetic expression reflecting my connection to Ukrainian culture, fashion and movement.

As a Ukrainian dancer of 25+ years, 10 of those performing locally & internationally with The Yevshan Ukrainian Folk Ballet Ensemble. It was such an honor for us to wear our costumes, knowing the deep history and memories connected to it. Through my artistic lens, these artworks aim to convey feeling and knowledge about each region's traditional costumes, dance steps and to show just how beautiful and strong cultural expression can be.

Each region is unique, with its own costumes and cultural expressions. I aim to celebrate this diversity and beauty, through my own original style by combining elements of vibrant colors, curvilinear form and bold compositions.
