Dmytro Vasylkiv

Dmytro Vasylkiv is a renowned icon painter and a member of the Ukrainian Association of Icon Painters. Born in the village of Hiyche, Lviv region, he graduated Master degree from the Lviv Academy of Arts with a specialization in sacred art. Since 2002, Dmytro has been actively involved in mural painting in various churches across Ukraine, working in the Eastern Byzantine style.

His notable projects include church murals in Yaremche, Zolochiv, Lavrykiv in Ukraine and Vancouver, Canada. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including charity events that support the Ukrainian army. Dmytro's icons are cherished in churches and private collections not only in Ukraine but also in Canada, Italy, the USA, Australia, Poland, and Spain. Through his art, he preserves and promotes Ukrainian cultural heritage and spirituality.
