Lovena Galyide
Born in Ukraine, Lovena Galyide has been creating art since the age of five, driven by curiosity, experimentation, and a deep need to express life through color and form. Trained as an architect, she spent many years working in Ukraine, Israel, and Canada—an experience that shaped her belief that life itself is an art form, expressed not only on canvas, but in spaces, food, and everyday rituals. Lovena approaches art as storytelling.
Each piece carries a quiet narrative—inviting viewers to feel, reflect, and sometimes question their own inner world. Her work often explores nature, animals, identity, and consciousness, blending emotional depth with vibrant, expressive color. A lifelong lover of nature and animals, Lovena’s move to Canada marked a turning point: she embraced a vegetarian lifestyle and founded the vegan restaurant Indigo Age Café, dedicating over a decade to promoting health, compassion, and mindful living.
These values naturally flow into her art, where animals and landscapes are not just subjects, but symbols of awareness, balance, and connection. Lovena creates to share joy, spark feeling, and open space for thought—believing that art, like life, is meant to be lived consciously and with color.
