Kevin Redden
A Canadian artist whose work is shaped by a life divided between physical labor and imagination. I’ve spent over two decades as a professional roofer, and that experience—risk, repetition, endurance—strongly informs my approach to art. My work explores power, responsibility, love, and the unseen forces that influence human behaviour. Grounded yet often cosmic in tone, the images reflect lived experience rather than academic theory. Based on Vancouver Island, I create work that is intentionally raw and direct, embracing imperfection as part of the process. These pieces are not meant to explain, but to resonate—art made by someone who has built, struggled, and continues to search for meaning, connection, and peace through image.
