Margaret Dyck

Margaret loves a good story....be it book, movie or theatrical production. With each painting a story begins, with the intent that you, the viewer, complete it. She injects an element of drama or intrigue into every piece of art. Margaret has been painting and sketching since childhood. Her works have been influenced by the forests of Ontario and the vistas of the Okanagan, where she grew up. Her father taught her how to observe nature: the seasons, sky, water, birds and animals. As an avid environmentalist, he instilled in her a deep respect for the laws of nature. Many of her paintings reflect that respect.
