Jenn Lecour

Jenn is a Canadian abstract artist who creates oil and cold wax paintings. Born in England and raised in Canada, she was drawn to the remoteness and beauty of Pender Island, a small island off the coast of British Columbia where she now lives with her husband and her dog, Oliver. Jenn initially trained and practiced as a lawyer but changed careers to follow her true passion of creating art.

After experimentation with different mediums, she discovered that using cold wax medium with oil paint was the perfect fit for her unique style which is inspired by her exploration and love of nature. Jenn started painting over 20 years ago and has gained expertise over the years by taking numerous courses and workshops. Her paintings have been collected across Canada, in the US and in the UK, In 2023 Jenn was awarded Signature Status from the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) and she is currently an AFCA member.

Her work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibitions including exhibitions at the the FCA gallery on Granville Island, Vancouver, BC and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Victoria, BC. Jenn has also exhibited at the Ptarmigan Gallery on Pender Island and has participated in group exhibitions in Victoria BC and on Pender Island.
