Linda Morris

Linda Morris is a local artist who has been painting for many years. She specializes in oil paintings, oil pastels, and acrylic painting. She loves all the bright colours of nature, and the almost spiritual nature of the painting itself. She became inspired by all forms of painting when her father passed on, and continues this wonderful form of therapy. She has continued to expand her painting skills with various classes, and also teaches the students at Cloverdale Community Centre.
Linda's art has evolved over the years, as she is becoming more abstract in her approach to the painting, "seeing it" as an extension of herself, showing her love of animals and the beautiful province that we live in.
She belongs to the Arts Council of Surrey, Langley Arts Council, Semiahmoo Arts, South Surrey, White Rock Art Society and most recently been accepted in the Federation of Canadian Artists, which has been a huge step for her as an artist.
