Carrie Hill

Carrie Hill (they/them) is a trans non-binary visual artist, poet, and uninvited settler on the shared territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations of so-called Canada. As a disabled, queer, Mad, multiply marginalized artist, their artistic focus revolves around marginalization.

Carrie is self-taught and has been creating art with a variety of media for over 20 years. Their body of work focuses on trauma, grief, mental illness, disability, poverty, feminism, and more. 

Carrie has been featured at Gallery Gachet, Outsiders & Others, Ikouii, Eastside Cultural Crawl, and Sunday Mornings At The River, and has published in Framed Photographer, Bare Bones Boudoir, Shutter Up, and more.
