Bart Maloan

BART MALOAN is a native of British Columbia, Canada. Born in Victoria he now resides in Vancouver, where he works from his studio. His early years spent as an active member of the Arts Council of New Westminster, Vancouver Island's premier group (Sooke Art Show) and solo shows. He works in many mediums, acrylic/oil paint, clay, cardboard, cement, collage.

Having trained at Langara Community College in Fine Arts: with a certificate in Interior Design from VSB. In 1999 he hosted an Open Studio Event at the Pacific Artist Studios, (an evening with six artists in their studios). After many years as a part time commission and portrait painter he is now devoting time expanding to a fine art career online and Videography.

He studied at The Victoria College of Art and Design in Printmaking, where he also received his certificate in "Master" Mold Making, Casting and Sculptural Techniques (2010)
