Jasna Filipovic

Jasna Filipovic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, former Yugoslavia in 1947. My husband was a TV Director and she was a lawyer. When they came to Canada in 1994, as war refugees, they could not continue working in their job professions. They opened an antique store and worked there together until retirement. Jasna started drawing by accident at 65, after buying acrylic paint for her grandson to draw with, and has never stopped painting after that.
