Erin has been a life-long artist, and as a child always chose solo time with her art supplies, or a walk in the forest, over any other option. Growing up in North Vancouver instilled in her a deep appreciation of nature, where she found her imagination could roam free, and she felt more at ease in herself.
At the age of 12, she began her yoga and meditation practice, to help cope with the stresses of life. She eventually became a certified yoga instructor, and after 3 years of studying Visual Arts at Simon Fraser University, began to meld the two together. Using creativity as a step in her self-reflection and transformation has been deeply healing for her, and many have found a sense of peace and calm when viewing her work.
