Maja Maglajilic

Maja is a Vancouver BC based artist with a degree in Art History from the University of British Columbia. Working mostly in acrylic and alcohol ink, occasionally straying into other media, her art, which is highly informed by the use of bold, saturated colour, is rooted in experimentation as a form of self expression and exploration. She is a firm believer in the transformative power of colour affecting moods and adding layered meanings to her work. Though a lifelong creator, she started sharing her work with a wider public in 2018, exhibiting locally and participating in Clio Art Fair in New York City (Oct. 2018) and ITSLIQUID Group’s Venice Art Fair (Spring 2019).
