Anu Chouhan

Anu Chouhan is a Punjabi-Canadian illustrator and art director. A trained animator and character designer with a background in game development, Anu often combines her love of her cultural heritage into her art. She is always being inspired by anime, nature, and global fashion, and is known for her bold and colourful character-driven art.

Upon completion of her Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts, Anu further developed her skills to obtain her Commercial Animation diploma. Anu recently illustrated the first graphic novel adaptation of the New York Times bestselling book series Whatever After. She is also the author and illustrator of the picture book Hair Oil Magic. Her unique, edgy, and energetic art has been notably featured by the CBC, the BBC, Harper’s Bazaar Bride India, The Times of India, and The Times of London.
