Ian Crook

I started exploring photography as a means of expression in high school, shooting and developing black and white film images. The advent of digital photography allowed me to take up photography again, and my interests have expanded over time from wildlife and landscape to street photography and other subjects. I find I am drawn to scenes that highlight the incongruities of life, such as a $5mm chandelier suspended from a traffic viaduct in a city struggling to cope with the human and financial costs of homelessness.
