Ariela Badenas

Ariela Badenas is a Filipino-Canadian photographer based in the unceded land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations. She documents the world as she sees it with whatever camera she can get her hands on: from a 4x5 field camera to her iPhone. She finds something truly magical about seeing people and places as they are, and using the camera to express the candor of a single moment in time.
